Founded in 1999, the Wonders of Our World program is celebrating 25 years of service to teachers, students and volunteers in the 2024/2025 academic year. With a new school partner, improvements to our experiments, and a renewed focus on putting teacher's needs first there's a lot to be excited about this year!

What's New

The new academic year welcomes a new school to the program, Lindbergh elementary! Lindbergh will join us as the 25th school WOW has partnered with and we are so excited to be bringing the excitement of science to their teachers and students.

In an effort to keep WOW's programming meaningful and fresh, we will begin a transition towards bringing the most curriculum-specific experiments we have offered. Throughout the next few years we will be working to ensure that teachers receive experiments to specifically meet the needs of every single content statement in the elementary Ohio science curriculum. This includes more grade-specific experiments and a larger emphasis on reading. Beginning this year, WOW will also introduce reading guides to correlate with each grade and unit so that reading goals are connected with science curriculum goals in our classrooms.

Finally, WOW is excited to begin placing a larger emphasis on connecting with our community beyond the classroom. Be sure to stop by and say hello if you find us at a community or campus event as we will always have exciting and educational science activities showcased!
