Requirements of OSU Student Volunteers
- Students must have 1, 3-hour morning or afternoon block available in their schedule each week to go to school visits.
- OR Students must commit to 1, 50 minute visit each week and be able to transport themselves to the schools as provided transport cannot be guaranteed outside the 3 hour visit blocks.
- Attend a WOW program introduction meeting once a year.
- Attend monthly trainings on new experiments to be able to continue volunteering.
- Volunteers are put on teams so that they consistently work with the same group of scholars. These teams will go out to the school visits together each week.
Requirements of Affiliate Organization Volunteers
- Attend a monthly training on new experiments to be introduced to the program.
- Sign-up for as many or as little classroom visits as you want, the sign-up is available on the affiliates page
