WOW: Beginning of Fall 2025

Wonder's of Our World kicked off our first classroom visits of the semester beginning last week! This month we began our visits with the Scientific Method unit, featuring a new bubble wand experiment. Next month we look forward to introducing the new experiments in our Birds unit as well!
Meanwhile, WOW’s Student Council is hard at work behind the scenes planning fun and meaningful events for our program and volunteers, including group bonding activities to strengthen our team. Our Team Leads are already making a big impact in classrooms as they take on leadership roles and guide their peers through experiments. We can’t wait to see how their leadership continues to grow and shape the program.
This year, we’re thrilled to begin visits at Cedarwood Elementary, joining our ongoing programs at Avondale and Lindbergh Elementary Schools. Cedarwood is now home to 12 classrooms and nearly 300 students participating in our interactive science experiences. We're also proud to share that Wonder's of Our World has reached the highest amount of student volunteers since COVID-19 this semester!
We are so excited to see what the rest of the semester has in store for Wonder's of Our World and our incredible students!
